Warm Sun, Cool Air

Sailing was fabulous...one of those days when you can feel the end of summer coming, but it's not giving up yet. We took the daughter and granddaughter with us, packed a picnic lunch, and spent 5 glorious hours on Saginaw Bay.

Maybe there will be a few more sailing days left?

Oh how beautiful....I always find it hard to get that horizon straight....hihii.I worked lots in the back garden this weekend and had great great fun. Thanks for your wonderful sweet words on my blog the other day. You always know what to say. Hugs back to you my special ladyfriend.

Though I should have been doing "catch-up," it was much more fun to sail. I struggle with leaving flare in the photo, but I think sometimes it adds something, a bit of reality, and weather info, and emphasis on the sun. I don't know.

As for the horizon line, I have been working very hard on this, and you don't see what I decide isn't good enough to show:). With the straightening tool in Photoshop Elements, I have more of a chance of keeping some of my photos!

Hidden Gem

Thank you, Georgia , for helping me focus on the hidden gem, the place we love to go and not be found. Not far from home...it IS home. We call it "out back," and once there we are transported to a private place, not visible from houses or road or the casual observer. I couldn't choose just one photo, so I created a collage of this special part of our world. Enjoy.
