Birds of a Feather

Welcome to Crane Fest
Where birders of all ages

peer through binoculars, scopes and camera lenses

waiting to see the Greater Sandhill Crane stop, rest and feed

on their migration route to the South for the winter.

At the end of the day....

it's all about the sound of tens of thousands of birds,
wings beating and vocalizations filling the air,
as they make their way to warmer weather,
and continue to entrance those who take the time to
stop
look
and listen,
marveling once again in the wonders of the natural world.

Look up...it's an amazing world.
