Reflections

While I am wishing to be here....

I am actually looking at this....

It's time to move from summer to fall, apparently. The calendar says it's September, and I do love autumn, but I just don't think I'm ready yet. It means going through the wardrobe and switching out clothes. But in Michigan it also means don't get all your warmer clothes out as there will still be warm days this month.

September also makes me think of holidays! Crafts, baking, family times....lots of activity. The cider mill will open soon and I love those crisp apples and the smell of baked goods.

Is anyone else thinking ahead already?

Summer rocks but there is something about autumn too, the leaves and the hazey sunshine...!

I longed for the Autumn colours myself and got some great Autumn shots. Now Spring is upon us - isn't that funny.

Sandy ...nice pictures and I like your words as well. I can't wait for Autumn and by the looks of the leaves..you all are quite ahead of us in the turning. We won't peak until about the 3rd week in October.

Dan

Have a great holiday weekend.

I am so giddy for autumn... I love pumpkin patches, and holidays and gatherings, and changing clothes. We don't feel the change as dramatic here in S. California, though.

Yes, I love the fall! Except I'm moving from California to New Hampshire for school, and I'm a little bit terrified of the cold there =)

Kaytee- I love the fall so much, but do NOT like the winter which follows. New Hampshire's beauty will help you through. Enjoy! And take lots of photos!
