Photography Plans?

What are your photography plans this weekend?

I'm sitting in my garage, waiting for the next wave of garage-salers, or the next wave of rain showers, and thinking about our upcoming adventure. A week from today we will be at our first destination.

Where is it? Find out more next week as I take you traveling across the northern part of the United States.

i'm intrigued! can't wait to see more.

my photography plans involve sorting all my vintage items and taking pictures of them for my shop.

i look forward to getting creative with it, but also feel like it will be work for the first time. i've never felt like taking pictures was work until now. still, i look forward to it.

Good luck w/ your garage sale - they do come in waves don't they? (customers and rain showers, lol) and I would SO love to see where your travels take you next week!!

Photography is great, and I love your blog. I plan on becoming a photojournalist. Do you think making blogs helps practice a bit for it or in a way get familiar with it?

I can't wait for the planning stages of this trip to be done, and the organization completed, and the van loaded. My lists are made and lines are being crossed off.

I DID have some time for some photojournalistic photography this morning...will share soon:).

It's funny how a project takes on a life of its own. I started out making a list of things I'd like to take pictures of - piles of M&M's, rocks on the beach, license plates hanging on an old garage door. Then I decided it would be interesting to find 100 items about "me," celebrating my 100th post with items about me/my life/etc. This way I could tie my compulsion to blog in to my theme. So, I started THAT list. And when I was done I decided all the things I was collecting, ideas as well as items, were actually blessings. Adventure Spots - Ours and Yours

It's June. Officially a summer month, and one I have always loved. It's also a time when I start thinking about having an adventure...to some beautiful, place more distant than my town. Last summer we had a wonderous trip through the western national parks, and spent a little time on the Oregon coast. The Columbia River gorge is beautiful - lush and exotic, fragrant, and heady with motion and sound. The waterfalls are astounding - and we love Multomah falls particularly. There's an upper and lower falls, with hiking paths for those who want to get up close and personal. The regular tourist path is paved, and leads you to this footbridge, spanning the cliff walls between upper and lower falls. Stunning. Where is one of your favorite adventure spots, and why does it touch your soul?
