Seldom do I ever wish for snow. I'm not much of a winter person; I get too cold and uncomfortable. I also don't do well with the dark and gloomy days. But there's something about a seasonal snowfall which really warms my heart and spirit. So when we had a little snow a week ago I enjoyed it tremendously. It was a day I didn't need to go anywhere so there was no stress about driving on the first real ice and snow of the season. All I had to do was enjoy it. Though I'm by no means "ready" for Christmas I began to feel the excitement. And when the following weekend we were able to see our granddaughter perform in the Nutcracker Suite...well, the holiday season had arrived. It's not official until you've attended your favorite Christmas performance, you know.
